A great little pub with a great atmosphere, You could drive down Hastings street and miss it. That would be a shame. Try the nachos, they are simply the best.

Where is the best bar in East Van? The answer is, The Brighton. I grew up in East Van and went to school steps away from this place and I can't think of another place that encompasses the spirit of East Van but, more importantly, the people of this tight knit neighbourhood. Walking into The Brighton is an unknown... Who will you meet? Who is waiting for you? Is it an old friend or a new one? It's a bar where longshoremen rub shoulders with bankers, punks and retired soldiers and they all have one thing in common: they call East Vancouver home. The friendly team at The Brighton is amazing and will always make you feel welcome with a smile, a laugh and a quick drink. The music is always amazing and you never know what you will get from ska to alt-countrey to punk to cheezey 70's metal tunes. In short, this place is a good time for good people by good people. Check it out. P.S. Try the Nachos.

This place was EPIC - STEPHANIE was by far the best Bartender I've had in Van on my few excursionsm I've had out this way!!!! Great prices , AMAZING SERVICE.... The food exceptional ... VIBE ,, STAFF ,, HUBERTS Soup was da BOMB..

Walked past and heard great tunes. Got served by Shae.. the crowd was lovely and there drink specials were great for a Wednesday.. would recommended coming by for a pre show killer spot !

Favorite local spot for a beer or to catch some live music! Service from staff- Hubert, Ayse, Erika, and Charlene is the bright spot. Always feel welcome here with a great friendly vibe!

I had a fantastic time at The Brighton Pub recently, and I just have to give a shout-out to our wonderful servers, Hanna and Shae. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was top-notch. We ordered the nachos, and they were absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. You could tell they were made with care, and they hit the spot perfectly. They made sure we had everything we needed, and their service added to the relaxed and welcoming vibe of the pub. Overall, The Brighton Pub is a great place to hang out with friends. The food was fantastic, the drinks were on point!

The last time I ate here was a long time ago so cannot speak on the food. The Brighton is a great place for a quick after work beer or for a late night of hanging out with friends. The vibe is loud enough to get you into the mood and dim enough to recognize the stranger that likes to talk to their barstool neighbors. The staff are all friendly and definitely all has their own unique personalities. It's one of the few hang out places that opens past 12am besides the Princeton.

Lovely spot. For many years I used to frequent Ouisi on Granville, which was my favourite restaurant in town until it closed. I was delighted to see that Hubert, who used to work at Ouisi, is now at The Brighton. He took great care of us! My friend is celiac, and Hubert informed us carefully what she could have on the menu. The environment was really pleasant, good music, atmospheric lighting, all around friendly and community oriented. I’ll be back!
